1. When did you fall in love with music(what age and the story of how it happened)?
I fell in love with music pretty early on, around the age of 6. My dad used to play guitar and I remember just staring at him every time he was playing.
I never heard anything like it at the time and I barely knew what a guitar was but somehow all those different/unique walls of sound caught my attention and from there on never lost it.
2. When someone hears your music what do you want them to feel?
I don’t have definite music out yet but when I do I want them to feel whatever they want or need to feel at that exact moment. Even if that turns out to be nothing. I just want people to be sincere about it. It’s a cliché but music is different for everyone. Something that can make you feel sad could make me feel happy for instance. It’s all relative.
3. Who was that person(s) that believed in you the most?
My parents I’d say. They always supported my choices and decisions. If it weren’t for them I probably would not have gotten into music so early on in my life.
4. What was the greatest struggle you had to overcome?
Ha, this question makes me feel like I made it in the industry after a long and tough road but I do want to remind people that for now I’m still just a guy playing guitar and making videos in his livingroom. Anyway, the greatest thing I had to overcome (and still am working on) is to have faith in my own playing and don’t think so much about how other people perceive me or the music I’m trying to write.
5. What advice would you give to other musicians?
Make sure you keep enjoying what you do, don’t do it for other people and don’t do it for the wrong reasons, don’t limit yourself. Sure, the road of creating/playing is not always fun and positive but if that happens, just try to distance yourself for a little while and try to remember what you liked about creating/playing music in the first place. Play because you feel like playing, not because you feel like you NEED to play. Also, if you yourself are proud and happy with your material, others will be so too eventually. You can’t please everyone though.
